Fill Passenger Details: Enter passenger details including name, age, gender and berth preference.
Make Payment: Review your booking details and click the “Proceed to Payment” button.
Select a payment method (Credit / Debit Card, Net Banking, Mobile Wallet etc.) and follow the payment process .
Receive Booking Confirmation: Once the payment is successful, you will receive a booking confirmation with a unique PNR (Passenger Name Record) number .
Print or Save e-Ticket: You can either print your e-Ticket or save it on your mobile device. A valid ID proof is required for train travel.
Reach the station on time, and present your e-ticket and ID proof to the railway officials for verification.
PNR number
The full form of PNR is Passenger Name Record. Whenever we book a railway travel ticket, we are given a 10 digit PNR number by the Railways. This number is mentioned in the railway ticket. This includes the name of the passenger, date of journey, coach and seat number,booking status and journey fare.
The status of the ticket can be known from the PNR number. That is, PNR number shows the current status of the booked train ticket like Confirmed, Waiting List or RAC .
